The former home and studio of Luis Barragán, one of Mexico’s most famous architects.
It’s a striking building that makes creative use of colorful tones and natural light. The recommended photo spot is the pink wall on the rooftop. The contrast with the green plants makes for beautiful, natural-looking photos! Advance reservations are required to enter Casa Luis Barragán, so please book through the website. Also, please note that taking photos or bringing in a camera requires an additional 500 pesos (as of 2019), separate from the admission fee.

Xochimilco is about a 45-minute to 1-hour drive from central Mexico City. It’s a place where the traditions of the Aztec era still strongly remain, so it’s a great spot to soak up that atmosphere.

This is an 18th-century Baroque building in the Centro district known as the “House of Tiles.”
Decorated with blue and white tiles from the Puebla region, its distinctly Mexican color palette is incredibly photogenic! It’s near famous sights like Mexico City’s Zócalo and the Palace of Fine Arts, so why not stop by while sightseeing?
